If I'm lucky, I'll see my friend Linda in San Antonio at the beginning of the day, and perhaps my cousin in Houston.  And then to the Red Roof Inn for a motel night prior to my visit to the Whitney Plantation.  Here's the route, ignoring friendly stops:
